Meeting was held at the house of Julia Bunn and Ben Hollis, 1731 Carmen.

Committee Reports:
Social:
No news, just reminders. Party still scheduled for July 15th, permits obtained. It will take place along Ravenswood from Winnemac to Winona.
Another reminder: garage sale on June 13.
Greening:
We’ve received $600 from GreenNet for the embankment; which means more planting and maybe a weed whacker. Thanks to all the folks who watered the embankment last year : it wouldn’t have survived the drought without it.
May 13 is the Greening/Cleaning day: it starts at 9 AM. We also want to get people to sign up to take turns weeding and cleaning the embankment this summer. More to come on website and in newsletter.
Communication/Membership:
Newsletter getting closer : will be ready for Greening day. We sold 2 ads for the newsletter : we need to sell more and volunteers for doing so are welcome.
Membership drive date in late May or early June: June 3rd has been suggested.
New Business:
Tree Planting from the Alderman’s office: People without trees on their parkway can register for a tree through the alderman’s office. Membership drive and newsletter will have more details.
Bill Montgomery has volunteered to head the Community Development Committee.
Garage Sale will be on June 3rd: Linda Wallace will do the ads and arrange for flyers.
