Recycling Tip
Here’s a tip (compliments of Alderman Schulter) for those of you wondering what to do with those old printing cartridges, cell phones, digital cameras, mp3 players, etc. The answer: a new ”Mail Back” program that provides a free and easy, also environmentally-friendly, option for disposing of small electronics. All you do is pick up free, pre-paid postage envelopes from the Post Office, fill them with small used electronics, and place them back in the mail to be recycled. The free, postage-paid “Mail Back” envelopes are available in Post Office lobbies and at the 47th Ward Public Service Office. Please let us know if you have a tip for greener living.
